Hello, Wanderers.
For everyone who plans to post something to the Library, make sure you are aware that we are under Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike 3.0 (CC-BY-SA 3.0). This means that all works published on this wiki unless explicitly mentioned otherwise will fall under this license. This license means that anyone has the right to make something that takes ideas, concepts, or anything else from your work as long as it's published under the same license and they attribute credit to you where it's due. As of this post, you cannot change the license on your work to anything else, and any work that attempts to fall under a different license will be deleted by staff.
Also, all images, audio, and other forms of media that are used in your works must fall under a version of the CC-BY-SA license or be free for use otherwise (If you got the creator's permission or if the work is in the public domain, for example. You must still state the source of the work, in any case). You can also edit these works to your liking, as long as you state so in the discussion post that contains all your sources. However, anything that falls under another license from elsewhere or another CC license that is not compatible with CC-BY-SA (Like CC-BY-NC-SA, for example) cannot be used or modified. Remember that if you use outside media, you must provided a link to each source you use. If you don't, you will be contacted by staff until you do.
Any media that you create and publish here on the wiki is also under the same license as the rest of the wiki. Again, you must mention in the discussion where your media came from, whether an outside source or yourself, and whether or not you made any modifications. Any attempts to evade this policy will result in warnings and possible deletion/replacement of unsourced work.
The policy we have here is the same as the one found on the SCP wiki. Here is a more expansive guide on media licensing provided helpfully by a user there (Uncle Nicolini): http://www.scp-wiki.net/guia-licencias-de-archivos.
Note: As always, staff has the right to modify rules and policies on-site as issues arise. If this post, or any other page/post detailing site policy has minor or major changes made to it, don't be surprised.
