Just as excellent as chapters one and two, and perhaps the most emotionally resonant.
I especially love the strong continuity in combination with the vignette style in this series.
I thought it was a preachy, environmentalist fantasy. Apparently not!
I'll admit, it is a little bit of that…but I hope to express it a little different, in time. Yes, it's a elf-ish race with a close connection to nature…but really, it's more of a Biotech thing then magic. The problem is, they have degenerated so far, they can no longer totally control it…and what's worse, they've become so inter-mingled with the environment, changes to it can have real effects on their bodies…err…just trust me, it'll make sense…
