I always thought the idea of the earth being the body of a living thing had a lot of unexplored body horror elements. Glad to see someone doing that idea justice.

This is excellent, and leaves a lot of room for curiosity to further enhance the narrative. I realize what it’s based off, but I’d be interesting to see your take on more mythological characters and events. There is one part that bothered me though:
None of us dared call Her out
The phase “call Her out” just sound far too casual to fit the tone of the rest of the article.
