An Account of My Revelation

When time is all one has,
There is little else to do than to think.
And with enough thought,
the Revelations occur.

- Sofya J'heer, an Enlightened; the Ever-Falling Wanderer of the Highest Shelves.

This piece is a direct continuation of the previous entry in the series.

But a Time is long,
And when there is no air,
What is the point in screaming
When there's nothing to hear?

Nothing new I had to ponder
while I continued to drown
at the bottom of the sea.

When I had reached conclusions
on all there was to conclude,
That is when the Revelation occurred.

A snake emerged then,
from the sands of the deep,
and wrapped itself around my body.

It coiled around my neck
and whispered in my ear;
Its voice was the sound
of a butterfly's wing.

"All that you could know within yourself,
You have learned," It said.
"You are a font of knowledge,
unfit for this plane of mortals."

"Come, therefore, and rest
within my endless coils
in the embrace of the Library."

And where I thought there was no further to go,
The snake pulled me into the earth
at the bottom of the sea.

In another life, she was a friend of mine, Sofya J'heer. She climbed to the top of the Highest Shelves and was driven mad by what the Blizzard there told her. She threw herself off, and now, forever falling, she remains.
