This sounds really cool, and I hope it goes well! In terms of logo, I can't give much advice as graphic design is really not my forte, but I would suggest using the British Library's flickr page or Public Domain Review if you're looking for inspiration. The latter especially has that mix of esoteric, bizarre, and quirky that fits well with the WL. As for a motto, something cheesy in Latin like "Knowledge is the root of all things" or something similar would probably work well.

As for the Serpent's Hand 1) I actually rather like the second from the left (the upper one, with palm made of snake) 2) given that the SH specifically has no single leadership or motto, you could choose several different logos and use them to indicate different factions or situations? Just a thought.

So seeking ideas and advice on something but not really writing. Don’t know If I should put it here but I’ma ganna do it anyways.

Had this idea for a by mail RPG where pen pals play as Serpent’s Hand members that send messages, missions, and items to each other.

Right now I am working on props. I wanted to create Wanderer’s Library Cards. Well serval actually. I’d like to do different layouts from a vintage look to a more modern laminated one.
What I have so far..

((for bigger image))
It needs more work and a Logo for the Library itself (it would also be nice if there was a motto to go with it I can put on the cards). I don’t know if the current logo for the Wanderer’s Library quite fits the motif I am going for. Also it’s more for the Serpent’s Hand and not the Library which are two different organizations. I figure the Library would have its own unique markings and history that should go into it’s logo.

I am also working on a logo for the Serpent’s Hand as the current one doesn’t really suit my needs. I want to have something that you can recognize right away but simple enough anyone without any drawing skills can recreate quickly. Sort of graffiti.
This is what I have on that and I hate all of it….

(The only one I really like isn’t mine but comes from this, I don’t know if others can recreate it with ease.)
If anyone has advice, ideas, or suggestions please speak up. Anything would be helpful.

Feel free to ask any questions if you like as well.
