You may say it's not as emotionally impactful as 'Daddy is my superhero' but this was as impactful, if not even more, because, well, I'm not a child, so I can empathize more with the dark thoughts depicted here. It's quite interesting, the phrase repeated here is quite helpful to show us the state the man is going through, that self-alienation that escalates and escalates until he cannot be sure why he does the things he's doing.

Really good writing. +1~

The repetition in the paragraph structures made this a struggle for me to enjoy, I felt repeatedly disarmed from my attempts to be immersed in your very good imagery. Eventually though, I was successful.

Very creative turn on the prompt once again, and very worrying continuation of the story (that's meant as a compliment). Get's a +1 from me, very interested to see how this all plays out

Its just the hospital, after watching his daughter in the first story die in front of him.

This story is not intended to be as emotionally impactful as Daddy Is My Superhero. It was meant to seem more meandering and introspective. I decided to keep the format of both pieces alike to reflect how similar the daughter and this narrator are.

The Him in the final sentence is not a physical, separate entity. It's actually the narrator, but instead his "darker" side. Pay attention to all of the other times where the "My thoughts are not my own" is mentioned. It's always right after he says something negative or malicious. The final sentence was intended to reflect that he was trying to move from such bad tendencies and go back to his previously optimistic side.

I hope you enjoy! Stay tuned for Part 3!
