I like this. I'm not fully sure if the screeching face is supposed to be a pattern screamer, but it serves an interesting purpose here: Something that our author can't control; so far away from his perfect reality that it refuses to adhere to it, and Cyren seems to feel bad, because all he is and can do is nothing this other being is.

And that means his perfection isn't perfect, right?

There is a certain solipsist feel to this Post-Singularity world, where our author exists, and everything else that does doesn't really feels real. This is a confrontation in a world that shouldn't allow that to happen, so of course it would generate questions; doubt.

This is probably my favorite article for this author: It had a very disruptive feel, going against the proper flow the others offer. It feels like the end of Chapter 1, if that makes sense. I'm excited for anything that could come after, if this series continues.

For now, however, I'm content with what I've read. Easy upvote.

While I found the earlier pieces to be a bit stronger, I do like this piece for how it has the imagery of the earlier pieces, but presents it in a different way and gives us more insight onto the narrator themself. It envokes a new set of feelings than the other pieces do, and the shift in perspective makes for an interesting conclusion for this set of tales here. I agree that perhaps they've finally come to terms with reality, whatever that may be. Solid writing again, another plus one here.

You can't just have your narrator talk about how he feels! That makes me ANGRY!

This is pretty good though, for what is essentially one long monologue. I don't totally like the presentation of it by using the collapsibles, but that's a relatively minor quibble. I have no fucking clue what happens here but I'm here for it - confusing, liminal (eugh), and evocative. Best guess is that Pligmolon has come to terms with the singularity's reality, whatever it is?

This was written in a last minute rush at 3am while I was wine-drunk and that probably shows. With that being said, this was a ton of fun to write. The end of Pigmolon's arc and hopefully a fitting one.
