I think the nuance was there; at the very least, for the kind of character piece that this was, all sides felt oddly compelling, despite the way they both thought and acted. I could see why things turned out the way they did, and the possible reasonings behind it.

It warms me heart that you appreciate the comments. I began commenting because I love to see 'em, and (Since joining) I also like writing 'em. It's always nice to give feedback and whatnot when it comes to creative works/sites like these, and would love to see more of it in the future.

I admit I wasn't that confident when posting this, as I'm not really used to writing 'negative' characters. Whenever I try to write unlikeable or unpleasant characters, they always turn into ultra-evil stereotypes - so I'm really glad I could make these characters more nuanced than that, and that you enjoyed it!

Seeing your comments (usually the only comment) on other stories encourages me to try and comment on the stuff I read, which is especially impactful on this site considering the small number of active commenters. Keep it up; I (and everyone else) really appreciate it!

For real though, this was amazingly good. Loved this sense of uniqueness in a sea of complacency, and this rebellious character that sent everything spiraling out of control. Reminds me of the line to lunch at high school, when someone would cut in line and hell would soon break loose. A really cool way to show how order is so easily broken in these kinda settings.

Anyhow, point is, I really liked this one. Easy upvote~
