About me: I'm an author! Mostly an essayist just for fun, but I really like branching out to other genres! I adore cola; I am a semi-professional orator; I have worked in libraries and am currently studying with the eventual career aim of archivism, and I have a passion for my (very) amateur photography, so I hope to incorporate that into some of the things I write here!

Hello, my name is Arachne Sieden, (well you can simply call me Sieden) I’m excited to finally introduce myself as a new member of the Library. I’ve been exploring the site for a while now and have been consistently amazed by the creativity and atmosphere here.

A bit about me: A deep enthusiast of weird fiction & immersive world-building, as well as tales involving forgotten archives & liminal spaces. Outside of reading and writing, I also enjoy folklore research & atmospheric music.

I joined cuz I hope to contribute my ideas and learn from the incredible writers here. I’ve started browsing the Recommended Reading List and hope to start drafting some of my own work soon!

My English proficiency is very poor, so I have to use translation software. I really like the atmosphere of the website and hope it can help me improve my English grades. Thank you to everyone for their assistance and tolerance.

My signature section features a classic poem by Chairman Mao Zedong, which expresses the pursuit of achieving ideal goals, the elimination of enemies, and the unity of the people.

I came here from, shockingly, the Foundation. I've known about it since I joined, and I only signed up for the Library because I need a place to air out my stories. I'm very fond of writing, no matter how, for lack of a better word, shite my stories may be. I find downgrading my work sets me back as an author, so don't do the same for your works. Writing for yourself does wonders for your literary skills, so don't be afraid to make bad stories.² They make us human.

Interests-wise, I'm into The Monument Mythos. It's honestly the peak of analogue horror (and Internet horror as a whole) and is my favorite thing on the Internet so far. I think all of my smart autism points went into that and left the bad shit to spread across everything else, so apologies if I don't understand something.

I myself have enjoyed the SCP Foundation and its franchise since I was a kid, like a few of you in this thread. However, it's only recently that my hyperfixation cycle has brought me back around to it. Thus, I discovered the Library and all that lies within its halls. Needless to say, I'm irreversibly intrigued by it all, and I can't wait to get rolling and submit my own works to its shelves as time goes by. My favorite literary genres are sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, and anything supernatural or paranormal. If motivation permits, I hope to write stories that will fall under these categories. After all, I've realized lately that creating works of literature is certainly something I'm passionate about. I've just never had a place to post them :3

I also enjoy vidya games! I have a dated gaming PC, an Xbox, a PS4, a Nintendo Switch, and a Quest 2 VR headset currently. My favorite game is Final Fantasy 14, and I am more than willing to have lore discussions about said game with anyone who also plays or has an interest in it!! D&D, photography, music, and dangerously addictive TCGs are a couple other interests of mine as well!

I'm a trans girl (she/her) with a love for video games, horror, and all sort of creative hobbies like writing and drawing. I do have a decent bit of social anxiety, so I'm not all too likely to be active in the forums or discord if there is one, but D&D is a pretty consistent way to lure me out.

Came to the Wanderer's Library from SCP out of curiosity, but loved the writing I've seen here so far! Actually decided to join when I realized the age requirement here is a bit lower. As such with that realization, I only just made a Wikidot account a while ago. I have no idea how this all works, so if anybody here has any pointers, please let me know!

I'm a kinda nerdy and somewhat introverted gay, Christian, furry college student. I mostly game and watch videos in my free time, but sometimes I like to write fanfiction.³ Came across this site because I was looking at an SCP on the Foundation wiki and came across this place on the Sister Site tab. Fell in love with the general ambiance and high-functioning chaos.

I've read a few pieces here, and looked at the guides, popular headcanons, and whatnot. I've got some inspiration for an idea, so hopefully I'll be adding some work of my own to the site soon!

Obviously I'm new at this, so any advice or critique is welcome as long as it's kind. :)⁴

I'm A-Nia-Lator, or Nia for short (incredible play on words, I know). I love DND and anything fantasy, especially Brandon Sanderson. I'm also a massive fan of the Magnus Archives!. I am currently working on a fantasy book and hope to post some shorter works here in the library. You should expect some mediocre supernatural horror and fantasy that is hopefully at least a bit better than the former. Writing is my passion and a hopeful career path, so this summer, I'm going to be pretty active around these parts.

Im DrHolster but people call me Gator (idk why). I found this place from the SCP Foundation and this place seemed more chill and more relaxed of a subject to write about. Most stories I write are different world stories with swordsmanship or magic. (idk why I'm just weird like that) But I hope I have a good time here and have fun creating new stories :)

Name's Hermes. I am a big fan of all sorts of things, from minerals to alchemy, fantasy, sci-fi, and food history! I have always loved to make stories of worlds beyond our own, the supernatural and the fantastical. After a 2 year hiatus of a creative block, I've returned to share my stories. I mostly enjoy writing about the aforementioned mystical worlds and the paranormal, but I also love mixing that with my love for food.

It's my first time joining something like this, so I'm equal parts exhilarated and nervous. I do a lot of things, I draw, I write, I animate, I'm trying to learn how to code, I pace around my house muttering like a madman thinking about fictional characters, I commit acts so hubristic that they would anger the prideful gods of ancient times, etc, etc.

I spend more time on the SCP wiki, although the whimsy and general magical atmosphere of this place calls to me more. I'm an absolute sucker for fiction that provokes a sense of wonder, because honestly, our dreary and sucky world needs a lil' bit of wonder sometimes. I am shamelessly full of loser-ish swag and I am constantly coming up with ideas. Sometimes, they're even good!

I am a mind of simple occupation; I enjoy Pokémon, indulging in nature, drawing, of course, and I am a fan of anything and everything unusual and peculiar.

I am a creative at heart, and have mostly been chilling around the art and comics side of things, but have been encouraged by some friends to take a crack at writing after a few experimental projects were shared. Most of the entries I believe to be worthy will likely have many illustrations of various quality in their completed stages, eventually sporting a custom background for each arc planned.

Unfortunately, due to a few months away from my main setup and other circumstances, I will be delayed in the majority of my entries aside from maybe some detached things, even though I'm chomping at the bit to show off some of my other things already!! I have lots of ideas, because with a "Sense of Wonder" is how I try to approach my life. The universe we live in and the realms of our imaginations are strange, terrifying, beautiful, and incredible. I am so happy to share all of these things with all of you.

I’m a huge fan of a lot of things, but I’ve recently been big into jjba, Earthbound/the Mother series, and of course, This place along with it’s not-so-well-known sister site called the “Ess See Pee” foundation or something like that. Doubt you’ve heard of it though. I’m certainly looking forward to to writing stuff for this site… as soon as I work up the courage to get over my seemingly hereditary fear of unstable technology. No offense but wikidot is a fairly old service and it being so unfamiliar to me kinda doesn’t make things better.
