Grahhh kaijucanon! I have no idea how I missed this one. The violence here sings with the whistle of bone and blood, the scent of dust and putrefaction, the desire of the walking dead like eastern winds spelling doom. A wonderfully done piece, giving us two darling drug dealers and the world they carrion-crasl through. Scrumptious.

-Avalon

This is good; really good. I like how the two stories collide (drugs and kaiju) and how the concept doesn't quite land for the canon until it does (At least, on a more literal sense. Thematically, it always feels right at home). The writing is really gritty and I really like the whole crack house exploration because it really nails that whole bottom of the barrel society feel you're going for. Akam80 uses the word 'exploitation' and yeah, that fits the story extremely well. Just, amazing piece that never lets you go, like the k'i'ik you write about.

+1~

I'm overjoyed to learn there's more meant for this character. I'm also overjoyed that you finally broke the curse of author suggesting the winning prompt for SSS actually writing for the canon lmao. Something about your prose in this piece was hypnotic to me — and I can't really point out why. Everything here just works. The concept for the drugs is super solid, and you weave it really well into this story. The manufactured synesthesia also serves this piece super well, and it represents something I really want to emulate in my characters - every perspective having something wildly unique, so this piece was very inspiring to me. Great work buddy :)

Exploitation has been a common theme in the TitanClash pieces, unsurprising as "exploitation" was a foundational word in the making of the canon, but this piece shows off an exploitation that feels so much dirtier, grimier. Something about crawling through the back alleys where the light from streetlamps don't reach; seeing, hearing, smelling the junkies; and wading through them like mud is fascinating to read, especially when the one wading through holds no punches with his feelings towards them. It's a clash of the downtrodden and the uplifted from the perspective of a median character who supplies the uplifted by exploiting the downtrodden by selling the substance that makes him and the uplifted wealthy. Truly a dismal piece that I can't wait for more of.

I really loved the symbolism and imagery that this piece is rife with, and the way it's executed makes that never become overbearing or overly purple. This feels distinct among many of the entries in titanclash in that I truly felt immersed in the world as presented here, and I really like how it stuck close to the seedy underbelly of city-life. The cross-link with styg's article also helped the world feel like it had a lot of breadth. I do have lingering questions, but I presume they might be answered in the next part - whenever that happens. Fantastic work!

Wind blows, rain falls, and Din-Bidor writes fantastic pieces.

A visceral sense of disgust drips from every word, searing the imagery of junkies rotting from the inside out into my brain. I especially liked the part about sacrificing gods on the altar to sate man's appetites. Sickly green +1.

Part 1 out of ???

I never know how long my works will get. I started this wanting something short and I ended up with a larger drug story. Sorry about the cliffhanger — we'll get there eventually.
