Ohohohoho I am loving this rhythm or flow or whatever you want to call it in this piece, it is bursting with wonderfully thought out moments. There's callbacks, there's crosslink, there's parentheticals yrahgrhaghr. I love this poem

finally getting around to catch up on a few things. i like this! the lilting inner rhyme scheme is very enjoyable and i love the messaging. a little verbose at times — it gets a touch dense for my tastes once or twice, but always manages to find the flow again. i think a lot, as well, about finding "god" in whatever sense of the word in a multitude of ways and places. +1, nice job

I need to drink tea at night more often. Based on real events, I guess. I'm trying to get back into the regular posting of poems, and this is a coldpost. Perhaps that's a bad habit of mine, but I thought this deserved a more raw portrayal. This is sort of a spiritual (ha) successor to Deus ex Mundo. Might turn these reflections into a series of sorts, who knows.

+Licensing

-Hide

Image is compliant under CC.0, found here.
https://unsplash.com/photos/low-angle-photo-of-skylight-taken-at-nighttime-HSw1-glqgSA
