A fair critique, and I'm sure it happens because the same feelings keep resurfacing. Maybe at some point I'll restructure some of the similar poems into one. For now, it serves as a place to get these out instead of keeping them bottled up.

Thank you very much, Just having these hear for people to read has helped me so very much.

-THB

+ SPaG/Suggestion

- SPaG/Suggestions

In the final line of "Why?" I think "But" would be better replaced with "So." Right now it feels clunky cause you aren't really contrasting anything with the but.

The tab labeled untitled has a poem inside that is actually titled.

In "I Wish I Could Worry" the second to last line is missing the word "to" after "going."

In "All I Ever Want To Do" the second to last line is missing the word "all" after "Because."

In "Father's Day" the first line of the fifth stanza is probably missing the word "at" before "all"

So obviously when it comes to such intensely personal pieces like this, it's hard to comment on them, but I'll do my best to do so fairly. There are some great pieces here, I think my favorites would be "Beautiful Girl" and "Doubt." It does feel repetitive at times, which I think you could play into if you wanted, something like the omnipresence of grief, retreading how you've felt before, etc, but a lot of these poems feel very similar to each other which makes it hard to read as a collection. Very sorry for your loss, thanks for sharing some powerful emotions with us, Bonkle

This is a collection of poems about the loss of my daughter. We lost her over a year ago, but the pain has never gone away. I began writing these poems as a way to make sense of it all. As I write more poems, they will be added in due time. I was uncertain about posting these, but I want to talk about her. Loss is something that needs to be talked about, and if I can do a little to break down the stigmas around discussion of these topics, then it's worth any pushback.

-THB

Thank you to Zip, Avalon, and especially Lemonsense for giving me the courage and support I needed.
