WOW ho did I not catch the metaphor even sooner. I am very mad at myself for just not "getting" it, but what can you do,. All that means is after years of reading I've finally reached the point where I can catch the authors message jst that little bit easier, and I'm glad I learned it with you <3

Discovering, articulating, and becoming oneself is a struggle. I've never seen that struggle written so accurately, or so beautiful. We struggle, because the opposite of struggle is death. Congratulations to the both of you. It's wonderful.

What a delightful piece, especially so because I can sort of distinguish both of your styles within the piece, yet they blend together marvelously; makes sense somewhat, considering what this entry is about. It's such a vivid depiction of the fight of the inner self, or something akin to it, at the very least. It's also great that this fight neither of hate or love, at least not entirely, feels so well structured and so well paced considering the themes and length played here.

So yeah, this is a great piece; loved it. +1~

There is an old punk song I've long forgotten the title and author of, but there's a refrain I remember in tone and substance:
"Sex. Is. Violence!
Sex. Is. Violence!
Sex. Is. Violence!"

This piece is the artistic demonstration of an abusive relationship turned up to eleven. Tasty and delectable. Dripping with style. I'm jealous I didn't do it first.

Violence! Violence! Violence! I demand my metaphors be soaked, marinated, embroiled, galvanized, and even brought into holy matrimony with violence!

It's a trip, it runs back and forth between the layers of my perception. First scent, then taste, then touch as a fist collides with my jaw, knocking a molar out, but I love it nevertheless. I wanna brawl on the weeds-and-gravel ground behind an old, brick pharmacy in a town long abandoned with this piece. I love it. Stellar work you two. You've satiated my hunger for the manic yet sensible, the strange yet familiar.

You are born in the future, you present thing, and I only see the ghost of your afterimage, a flash photo taken into the past.

I mentioned how much I adore this line in my crit, but I feel the need to reiterate it because it's joined the ranks of random lines that pass through my mind on occasion.

We emerged from the canopy and the gusts of backhanding steam from our exhaust manifolds and found cities in the skies
