The colored text was a sick touch. At first when I finished reading this, I reacted negatively towards the idea that the other characters were doomed to the crowd. Taking it literally, it really doesn't sound that justified of a fate (especially Herman, #HermanDidNothingWrong) but I think I appreciate the metaphor its going for. I think the piece definitely could've benefited from some sharpening of its metaphors so they all feel more pointed towards the same central theme, but what's here has some great emotion behind it. Re-contextualizing "my place" at the end there was very nice mwah chef's kiss.

This is such a fun piece. Loved the interactions between the many characters, and the overall feel (Thanks to the colored text) that something was very, very wrong about the developing event.

All in all, I liked this one. +1~

Let it be known that my native southeast asian ass has never been to Kansas.

This is my Yuletide Gift for Jaxim0sPr1me!!! I’m very very proud of the concept, not so much of the execution.

Some big inspirations were
- 24 Hours (Sandman Comics)
- Mouthwashing
But as you all can tell I got pretty liberal with it. Cheers!
