62. Each and every single grain of sand holds memory. In the quiet and hidden places of the world, thoughts are vitrified - each secret becoming embodied in cold, transparent glass - teetering the edge between dream, meditation and reality.
60. There are far fringes of the Library where every tome in sight is nonsense, where ways lead to worlds conquered in totality or without natural laws, and the true Librarians never care to maintain. Nevertheless, someone has to tend to the books, keep the Jailors out, to enforce the rules, and in the unchartable multiverse there will always be some poor fools willing to volunteer.

61. If you know how, you can find abandoned, empty, dreams where any door can lead to any irreal memory and anything can change when you look away. Someone's trying to find out what happened to them, someone's trying to find out where all the dreamers went.

They are confused, then disturbed, when they realize that there are still posts being made, centuries after the extinction of the human race.

30. The ultimate television show - one which literally everyone watches, has it all. And it's just been renewed for a second season!

31. The moments where one lays in bed half awake and half asleep, before either the hypnic jerk tethers us to reality or our physical selves demand that we surrender to unconsciousness, is in fact spent in another world entirely, one in which action can be taken for or against the near-dreamers, and only a few in our world possess the agency and force of will to remain lucid within it.

Welcome back, or just welcome if you're new! This is the fourth iteration of the Serpentine Sorting System, rules and details to be found here.

It's been quite a while since TitanClash LIVE all the way back in June 2023, but with new year(s) comes new opportunities for creative settings!

Rules/How to use this thread: Every person may submit a maximum of two prompts. Prompts should be 1 sentence in length max, and should not go into extreme detail. Something general like "A world where robots and humans live in social tension" or "Crab World" are best. Details will be fleshed out in the second stage of the event. The suggestion period will close on March 2, 11:59 Pacific Standard Time OR whenever we hit 64 prompts total, whichever comes first.

I'll get us started with two suggestions.

1. The Old Gods are still with us, in a way. Just now used as batteries and computers.

2. Twenty random locations on Earth (along with the humans within them) are plucked from its surface and deposited into an endless expanse of ocean , forming a new archipelago.

Please number your suggestions sequentially. This is for ease on staff's part of keeping track of where we are in the process. For example, I gave suggestions 1 and 2. The person who posts after me, providing they give two prompts, will label theirs 3 and 4. Next will be 5 and 6, and so on. Please do not reply to this message specifically; create a new post within the thread.

Remember, this is a collaboration, not a contest. It's not about having the best idea or winning anything, it's about working together to create something cool.

Good luck and have fun!
