gorgeous. i too have long been captivated by ants and was thrilled when you began injecting the concept of the tzic into the canon; i am even more thrilled to get to read your story about them. your works all have a true storyteller's spirit so i love when you put that on full display, framing device and all. +1

this is pretty handily my favorite part so far — it has the most depth of emotion (tenderness mixed with mourning, very nice), and the ambiguity of the ending is a really nice touch, though the storyteller turning out to be odu was fairly predictable.

You asked why I was so invested in the Tzic, and here's your answer: ants and the Wanderers' Library have held the same meaning in my mind ever since I first read about Pages and the Tree of Knowledge. To think that these little insects hold the secret to infinity has led me to writing some wild pieces, and I think this was a most excellent opportunity to showcase this to you all.
