Ok so i have an idea.
can i write a story about the Librarians
like say i write about the day in the life of a Page
or write down logs written by say an archivist
or perhaps write about a Docent guiding wanderers or defending the library
That sounds like it has potential, but what do you think you can do to give any of those topics a special feel? There are a lot of articles that either directly or indirectly characterize and describe the Librarians, so figure out how would yours be different.
I'd say to think outside of simple narration and think of different formats. Do you already have some ideas?
well yes actually
for an Archivist i would literally be writing it as a sort of log kind of like how the 682 termination attempts are formatted but it would be written as
Material: type of literature ie: book, magazine, ad, letter, scroll, poem, song, etc
Name: Title of Literature
Wanderer: the name of the wanderer that has it
Index #: first 3 characters in the author's name followed by date of posting
Notes: a comment being made about either the wanderer or the piece of literature
I honestly like to imagine that an Archivists would keep these logs so that way they can remember this stuff just like a real librarian
As for writing about a page i would write out the whole story from the page's perspective, as in write about his day while working how he feels about his job and because the librarians are former rule breakers, perhaps include him having memories from his old life, or maybe give him the memories of being converted into a page and his transgression but nothing else
And for writing about a Docent it would be hard to expound on anything other than simple narration but here would be the premise:
the story is written from the perspective of a wanderer being guided by a very old looking Docent and to wanderer surprise they make a claim that the Docent spoke to them and told them a story from a long time ago before the library was so filled with wanderers and librarians, and tells them of the reason they started turning rule breakers into librarians.
at the end of the story the wanderer will ask the Docent why it is telling them this
the Docent will say something along the lines of "because I'm old and while i'm not the first of my kind i am one of the oldest here that isn't a rule breaker" or "because your a well read wanderer and you've noticed that while the library has every story in that there ever has, can, will or won't be in existence; there is a lack of documented history about it." or "because someone needs to know"
Remember that all articles that you plan on posting here must use proper English. Your first other articles were extremely full of typos, and I recommend reading through your work before posting.
I also recommend not starting three different stories at the same time. Try to focus on one and make it worth something.
Please use the forums for more feedback when you have a finished draft. If you write well, I think you might have a story worth telling.
