I feel like this is lacking a good story flow, especially in the part leading to the ending, and there are also some grammar errors present. I recommend using our review system in the forums to improve your work before you post.

I feel like this is a really heartwarming story, but the grammatical problems and hard-to-read font kind of bury it underneath.

This is a really lovely story, I'm surprised it doesn't have more attention. There's a sense of melancholy throughout that goes perfectly with the ocean setting; like that feeling of longing you get when looking out across the water.

What a beautifully poignant piece. I love the pace and the way the narrator walks us through the story: It's really damn good, and helps the reader ease into the story and connect with this feeling of innocence and grief that the narrator exhudes.

There’s an amateurishness to this that I can’t tell if it’s intentional or not. This is really close to being something good, but is otherwise just lacking overall. Novote.
