I liked this when I saw it in Discord and still do. The ending is a little bit predictable, but still very engaging and hits the right emotional notes.

I like this a lot, but I dislike the weird formatting. I'd like it enough to upvote if you could clean it up a little.
I really like the story, even if the ending is worded a little weird; agreeing with Rum.

Yeah, I'm referring to the spacing style. Also, that first sentence in bold could also work as a title, like:
This,
This,
This,
or This.
So basically just add 1-4 plus signs.

So I believe this is too predictable to make it interesting. The writing style is alright but for my taste a bit meandering. I would appreciate some periods instead of commas.
