I appreciate the feedback! I will admit that the way it was written made me flinch a little. Regardless of that, I can see where you're coming from with the "exposition for the sake of exposition" though I certainly did not intend it that way, more as a presentation for the character and what the WBI constantly has to deal with, it's a common mistake of mine to drown articles in information.
As for the WBI following SCP tropes and vibes, that is very much deliberate, it's less of the -Library- needing it, and more of -certain patrons- needing it, yes the place is run by the Library staff, but they're incredibly neutral in most scenarios, with limited morals and sense of justice, moreover, the WL has shown itself to be an incredibly dangerous place.
The picture I was trying to paint was of a Bureau that understands the Library is —an— experience, they just wish to make it a —safer— experience, for all of those that desire it, like gettin' an insurance plan, haha.
I will try to make that clearer in any future article for them, or if I end up rewriting this one. Thanks again!
