Oh this is convenient, I just read this one before looking at who needs critique. I should let you know, generally, people get crit before posting, since you linked an already posted thing.
I'm pretty interested by the premise you spelled out here, so here's some advice about using other characters that are not originally yours. First, you should be aware of what lore comes with each character, it seems like you read up on Issa Antar, but I'm not totally familiar with the character, just that they exist. That's another thing, if you use another character, you're going to have readers who have zero clue who that character is. Your article is the introduction, so you should make an effort to give a basic idea of who this is without derailing the actual story you're trying to do.
As for the actual story, it was a pretty decent creation myth, I liked the voice you used, it felt very reverent. One thing that was odd to me, is that the myth did not seem to have much to do with the Fifthist train of thought you were using in your first half of the story, this framing device should matter to the actual story.
Let me know if you have any questions about my crit or any specific things in your story you'd like me to touch on for you
