Not much to be said besides great job! We finally got lil' ol' river canon off the ground. Fantastic job writing this, especially the monologue from Sobek. I am definitely going to take notes on how authoritative you made the god sound.

Oh this is really, really good. I liked both the part where it describes how time passes yet the river remains, and also this monologue by Sobek; I loved how you built his character. Really, well 'God-like'.

Ho-lee shit. That was so great! From the imagery to the monologue, it was enrapturing. One of my favorites on the site, I think. +1

I may be somewhat biased here but I thought that this was pretty great. The rise in tension over the course of the monologue is palpable and the imagery is especially vivid.
