Hmmm. I'm torn. On one hand, this is a really interesting way to interpret the 'rebirth' theme, and the writing here is really nice. My problem, however, lays in two parts: The journey, and the ending. The piece itself feels… Bare. Now, that is the objective, yes, but there just isn't a lot to really grab my attention. I wish there was more to the story than what is here. And about the ending, it doesn't feel right. The story ends too abruptly for my taste.
Think I'll novote. It's not bad, but it feels unsubstantial.
