I'm looking for some new visual art to feature on the front page of our site! A few things of note…

• Needs to be horizontal / landscape oriented, preferably rectangular in shape if possible. I can resize to a degree if needbe
• Any medium is welcome, as long as you can export as a JPEG/PNG, or get a high quality photo/scan of your work.
• Any WL related subject is welcome (OCs, stuff for your personal series, fanart of other people's content, art of the Library itself, whatever). Priority will be placed on art of more general subjects (the Library itself, art representing a full canon vs art of just one OC sitting there), but please send me whatever you're proud of!
• Art must be your own/you drew it.
• You do not need to have an art page on the site to submit something, but please make sure your art follows our licensing guidelines.
• DM me your submissions here through Wikidot DM (you'll need to post it on a site like imgur, then DM me the source link), or through Discord (preferably) if you're in the WL Discord server. You can submit more than one. I will also need a username you'd like to be credited with.
• There is no deadline. This is an open invitation to submit stuff to me whenever. When you DM me, just send me the art and a note saying it's for the WL front page.

The Library is infinite, it is very likely however you imagine it looking like - there's a part of the Library that looks exactly like that. And again, no canon, so if you want it to look like that, then it does!

If you're stuck and needing inspiration, you can check out our various gallery pages for how other artists have depicted the Library, you can do some reading and focus on stories that take place in the Library (they'd be tagged with either the library, archives, or librarian tag, though note our tagging system is out of date and under a rehaul), or you can check out the Wing One and Wing Two pages under browse in the top bar which have some specific descriptions there.

I made pixel art about the serpents private collection, but I can't seem to publish it. I've tried everything. Assistance please?

I'm a tad confused on what you mean by publish. As in post it to the site? DMing it to me? Adding it to the front page? Could you clarify so I know how to help you?

In terms of uploading/inserting files/ect, I would look this guide for the technical parts of it. Disregard the part about tags or the artist vs artwork page part, as that's specifically for our sister site. Just focus on the Creating the Page section.

When posting to our site WL, galley pages require at least three pieces to be posted to the site. There also needs to be some sort of story that weaves the pieces together - this could be a blurb after each piece talking about it, the character who made the art discussing their works, a form of journal, ect. You can look at Hall One for some examples. So if you only have one art piece right now, you'll need two more before you can post a page for it. Again, hall one has some great examples.

If you'rejust submitting this to be used on the front page, it does not need to be posted to the site, and should be DMed to me directly. I'll handle adding it to the front page and whatnot.
