This is one of your longer pieces, and I absolutely dig it. The description of the city as rotten throughout; the vivid, memorable characters; and the Others present but not directly explained all flow together to form a beautiful narrative. I especially adore the way the protagonist is not described much at all — it makes for a fantastic reading experience. Well done, Dinner!
What is life if not the contrast between what has been and what will become?
