This is so pretty, and the style perfectly captures the aesthetic of the image.

A powerful story, with equally powerful imagery. Loved the character of the harbinger, a passive entity made to observe the end of times, for every planet he arrives at is marked for death. And yet a dying planet is not dead yet, and there's beauty in that.
A really weird but enjoyable Carpe Diem story. Easy +1~
I loved the characterisation of the satellite and the feeling of the atmosphere. I was fully immersed and I love stories about sapient space objects!
Completely agree with Maxy and fairydoctor, amazing. I feel that there could be another story element like the worlds blame the harbinger but I honestly like this ending more.
Solid +1
The phrase "I watched their Earth fall into the sun, not even leaving a ripple on impact." is so satisfying. Thank you for writing this!
wow is that a fucking 1914 REFERENCE
Really good. But you knew that already. This is very evocative, and the use of an AI narrator is clever — it allows you to have an exploration of humanity, whatever that means, from an observer who can never truly relate, just watch. It's clever as a thematic device, a plot device, a framing. Suits the story well, and your prose in this is wonderful. There's a clear and distinct voice to the Harbinger as you present the various Earths in their various stages of collapse, painting a great picture about nihilism — before you flip, and turn it into a message about how you matter. It's really good, and well deserves its score. Great stuff.
Wonderful stuff Yossi, glad I saved it for last (that music suggestion at the start??? Stellar, going to have to steal that trick one day)
