Another one based on my experiences of London. And for those of you who are confused, a "tip" is a place where rubbish is disposed of by piling it up. I checked it in the dictionary and it said "Chiefly British" so that'll probably confuse non-British readers, as I do so love to do.

Thanks to meltedbee for helpful and perceptive crit, especially for validating my use of free verse!

This SLAPS. I love how it doesn't pull away, but enters different days at different times and goes into different types of detail (the appearance, the rot, the twitching). Your word choice is gorgeously grotesque, and your light use of the narrator as a vehicle (no pun) helped keep the eyes on the foxes. Brilliant work.

Echoing Blue’s comments about the word choice, it’s really good here. Poems about grotesque things are fascinating to me, because as a genre it’s often focused on more romantic (in the general, not literal, way) subjects, and I think this does it well whilestill romanticizing the encounter
