ahhhh this is so good. I always feel bad that I don't have more meaningful comments on some of the verse work posted on this site, especially yours with how fantastic it always is, but it's just… yes. It's melancholy, it's effective, it's soft but it's emotional. It makes me feel things, which is my bar for good poetry. This exceeds that.

Like a city in the fog, there are times we just want to be swallowed up in the all encompassing embrace of those we love.

Regardless of whether my interpretation of the poem is correct, it's still a wonderful piece. I'm happy I was able to offer my crit for this( even if it was only the slightest bit) You're one of this sites best poets and it's always a pleasure to see you post
