A gift for Wanthecommon for the 2022 Yuletide Gift Exchange. Despite my original malaise, I honestly think this is the best thing I've ever written.

I'm ready a book and there's one of the characters that is an arsonist, and this piece reminds me a lot of the way they rationalize their love for burning shit to the ground. Really solid writing, I like it.
