hm. I feel conflicted at this piece. The poetry is definitely of an interesting texture, and one that may (and probably definitely does) appeal to other readers, but it just doesn't do it for me. Overall, to me, it just felt a little clunky. The art is fuckin' awesome though, and it's definitely a pretty poem.
I think I have to novote. Sorry. It's not, like, bad. It just doesn't click for me.

I getcha. If it's anything, the poem is a bit clunky because it's written in a "swing" style — it's written with the intent in mind that a crooner or big band vocalist would sing it. I'm glad you liked the art though, that was the hardest part, hahaha

Lovely art pieces you've included in this piece, I think they really fit the writing and the css theme used quite well, and have a great energy to them that contributes to the piece. I'm guessing you drew these yourself - but would you mind confirming that either here or in your author post, and stating that they're also released under a license compatible with the site's? (If you made them, you just have to state that you release them under CC.) If you didn't draw these and a friend did, ask the friend if they're okay with the above, and if you sourced them from elsewhere, please provide a source link. This is just for staff's records and so I can tag your piece as cited properly.

Oh, yeah, totally! The two art pieces, “still building” and “still encroaching,” are paintings I made. I hereby release them under the site’s license.
