Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of this one. The conversational prose is pretty neat, and I (every writer, I suspect) can certainly relate to the struggle in the text. Writer's block sucks, and writing anything is at least a first step towards breaking your way through it. So commendations on that.
But for me, I felt like the meandering, rambling nature of the monologue made it kind of hard to get invested and engaged with the article. It didn't feel like you were building up to a greater point about writer's block, just kind of typing whatever came to mind — so the end where you pose the moral of the story feels unearned, not sufficiently evidenced or pre-established. I guess that's my biggest criticism of it — that it basically just feels like you were writing whatever came to mind in an attempt to brute force past writer's block. Which, like I said, admirable strategy! But that doesn't necessarily mean that the result needs to be posted, you know?
