Damn, it's been four years since the last introduction thread! So here's a new one — hit 'new post' and introduce yourselves!

To start us off, I'm ROUNDERHOUSE, senior administrator of the Library. I'm a big fan of reading and writing about Weird Shit, crime, and period pieces. I've been a member of the Library for the better part of five years now, and helped bring the site back to life — hard to believe it was ever dead, with how active it is nowadays!

And as a note, don't forget that we have a Discord server you can join to chat with other Wanderers!

Ahoy

My username is Doctor Bierre, but I'm better known as Evfist. I was one of the co-creators of The Backrooms Wikidot, where I now act as an ex-admin but occasional writer. I've done a lot of work over there but as far as Wanderers Library is concerned I'm fresh meat— looking to expand my horizons by writing for this wonderful lil' place whenever I get the time to do so.

Big fan of cosmic and body horror, especially in the forms of the Carpenter or the Cronenberg. Most stories I write are horror-oriented but I'm known to dive into other genres and styles of writing depending on what I'm interested in at the moment. Huge Fallout fan. Also a little trans but that definitely has nothing to do with the previous statement.

I'm UncertaintyCrossing, another one of your lovely administrators! I helped bring forth the age of art into the Library - having the first gallery page and setting common head-canons for the appearances of both staff, wanderers, and the Library herself alike! For both my art and writing adventures, I love exploring the things that lie inbetween, and the ways we define ourselves.

Well howdy!

The name’s Snapdragon, and I am yet another of the site’s admins. I haven’t done anything nearly as influential as my co-admins (or been around as long), but I love this community and work to foster it as best I can. I love writing characters and fitting my style to existing characters, exploring themes in a digestible style, and going all in on weird concepts. Shoutout to my main man Duke Gathers

I’m always open for good conversations, and I’m usually around in chat as long as school isn’t kicking my ass, so feel free to reach out!

I’m Ambrose (Arietes). I’m not staff or anything, just a funky guy having a jolly time. I draw occasionally, and write here and there. I like high / dark fantasy, exploring the fabric of existence itself, and making an unnecessary amount of universes. I also dabble in poetry.

I'm meltedbee, but you can call me Rosie! I'm a new moderator of the site, and am a lot more active lately! School being what it is, that may change, but as of late you can find me on the discord pretty often! I write about fire, ice, technology, and God, for what it's worth. If you want to write about rocketry or space, reach out because those topics interest me like no others! I also do Atlas' Burden. Nah, just kidding. It's just me, Destinysday! Community mod and resident parcoon enjoyer. Been a member for a few years, but still pretty new to the mod scene. Don't let that fool ya tho, I'm here to help however I can.

As for my works? I love writing characters and planning out huge, lore heavy storylines for them. There's just something about watching a world get a little bigger because of some crazy twist or new idea that I really appreciate. I've also been known to write some prose every now and then.

Other than that, feel free to hmu. I'll try to respond in a timely manner

Heya!

I am lzhoudidion, and I'm just a regular ol' writer sticking around the site, and (a bit more frequently) on the Discord server. I enjoy penning pieces of both prose and poetry (sometimes in tandem!) involving railroads, history, machines and the State of California/Western United States, particularly those that dive and mesh fiction with a particular real-life locale, timeframe, or character. Perhaps the most fun I've had in my time here was writing pieces involving the character of The Tramp—so many interesting scenarios/dynamics have just arose from just the concept, the act of trainhopping itself.

I'm on the Discord on a regular basis, however Wikidot will serve just as well as a line of communication.

Hello.

Name's Bidor, Din-Bidor. I'm mostly known for the sheer amount of shit (AKA my written works) I've spammed onto WL ever since I showed up here four years ago. Ulak the Drifter? My firstborn and favorite child. Duke Gathers? The result of me and other authors going on a drug binge (though I might have been the only one on drugs) while watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I also created a cyberpunk necromancer called Aníbal Zalost who is DEFINITELY NOT my author avatar. In other words, I write sci-fi, science-fantasy, cyberpunk, horror, and a whole other range of stuff that reflects the experience of one (1) very angry, very Mexican goth.

You can always find me on Discord inciting my fellow Latino writers to enact a hostile takeover of this site (gringos beware).

And no, I won't make an author page. I already made a hub for my works, so bite me.

I'm not really new, but if everyone else is jumping off a cliff…

They call me Oligarch, NotAnOligarch, Oli, NAO, and a whole host of other names that shouldn't be mentioned here. I write. Mainly mediocre crap that has just enough glitter tossed over it to make it appear good. I enjoy writing as a hobby (and technically a job), and I think the single best inlet for that is the WL. I've been described as the Library's resident hooligan, which definitely isn't a far cry from the truth. You can catch me pretty much anywhere that isn't discord (hate that place), and I'm more active on this site than is probably healthy.

So, I've already introduced myself, but I just wanted to give a brief overview for those who would like some help.

Hello, my name is dracodiablo99, but you can call me drac, Draco, or whatever you can find off of my name (I'll eventually get it, after some momentary confusion). I am a total nerd who enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, watching anime (just finished Tekken: Bloodline), and reading an unhealthy amount. I threw my sanity out the window a long time ago when I started writing, and I have one (1) story posted to the library. I possess the rare ability to feel like I am high off of music (I've never actually been high before, so that's my best guess). I also possess the patience to do spag critique. I am one of the very, very few people you will ever meet who does speg critique. PM me if you want some! Btw, my main genres are pretty much anything that isn't a romantic comedy. Pass that on to someone else. I am not good with poetry at all, sorry to disappoint, but I'm happy to read it.

I was inactive on Wikidot for a while due to the fact that I was reading an unhealthy amount of Bleach (finished all of it), but I plan to change that. I'm back in business.
