Author post but with robot bits

I am alive and so is this! The journey of part two of my potentially poorly named series Ocular Haze has been a bit fraught, to say the least. The original draft was dumped for crit on the long-suffering StrangerSwing, who struggled through about two thirds of it before I allowed them to be free. In short it was a few edges the wrong side of Shadow the Hedgehog and not in a good way. It was also long and had basically nothing happen. Turns out serious prose is hard. So I gave up, worked a little on part three, and then materialised this in a single attempt. It's almost like being really, relentlessly, unselfconsciously edgy is hard to do or smth idk I'm a shitposter who took ten months to do part two of a web series with a fanbase of one really epic individual (it is me).

And of course, thank you to Tim Jim for crit on both this part and part three!

Ohhh, nice! Wasn't expecting to come back to Olristaan that fast. I like this one, her pov is interesting, and that bit at the end is such a good hook. Love it.
