Loved working with FLOORBOARDS a real one
Every day, I write my silly little words and plot my silly little plans.
come on now and see the course
that never fields the game of choice
and cold allies of steel
couldn't buy the way it feels
rusty and divided steel
the race is yet to come"I've always loved airplanes and flight."

Hello everyone! This is an entry on behalf of Team Rare for DebateCon2023. Huge thanks to UncannyClown276 for critique, and, gigantic thanks to my co-author Fishish, who really tied this all together. Couldn't have done it without you <3
Hope you all had fun reading! Have a good evening!

Ahah, this was a fun one. Odd convention of thoughts going Inception-style into each other, but one I enjoyed in the end (and started appreciating about three layers in). I absolutely adore the formatting — you worked your tails off for this one. It's almost dreamlike, hazy and fuzzy, looping back in on itself at certain points and spiralling — the airplane experience. The ones in blue I particularly adored — how each paragraph follows a different emotional beat and highlights that without disturbing the colour-undifferentiated narrative is just breathtaking. Gorgeous stuff. And the fact that this is so many stories in one is just *chef's kiss* mwah! glorious. Hats off to you two. I thought that this would be in common, but in retrospect it's absolutely a rare — each of the stories is a distinctly Rare or Uncommon experience to the person experiencing them, even when the casing of that experience seems common. Well done! Soundly delicious work. tastes like cashews in those little Kirkland Signature plastic pouches and some watered-down POG in a waxed paper cup halfway full but also somehow always on the verge of spilling. A distinctly Airline™ work.
Beautiful stuff.

What is life if not the contrast between what has been and what will become?
Styg, thank you so much for this mini-review. Not only am I glad that you enjoyed it, but you also pointed out some things I hadn’t realized even while writing and formatting this!
I’m glad your Airline™ experience was satisfactory. 🤍

Although this one personally wasn’t for me, I can see the effort and time put into it and appreciate that. Good job.
Have a nice day.

6 | Imagery | Pretty darn good! Very lofi-album-cover-esque vibes, if that makes sense. |
5 | Theme | Rare? Maybe. Good, subtle themes? Definitely. |
6 | Flow | Very good: the story feels like you're searching for something, which lends to the theme. |
6 | Format | As I said, the nested collapsibles are a great, great idea. Really wonderful stuff. |

Wow, this is super comprehensive! Glad you liked it, thank you for taking the time to make this!

What an odd piece. It's really damn good, and I loved the way it's presented, which each story only barely connected to each other, jumping from person to persom, from experience to experience, yet following the same thematic.
I'm not sure how to feel about it like, on a deeper level, but reading this was a great experience. Good shit. +1~
This was a fun read. I was surprised by the change of perspective at first, but by the end I enjoyed each separate story tied together with a similar setting and theme. +1
Oh damn there’s so much packed into this piece! I love how you spoke the monotony of airports into the formatting of this piece, from the seemingly endless collapsibles to the repeating stories with slight differences, everything here works toward that feeling
The bear story has gotta be my favorite, it’s so deliciously coincidental and slightly unsettling, but every section brings something different to the table here. Great job!
Oh man, I’m glad you enjoyed! The teddy bear story was my favorite to write, because that actually happened to me, hahaha
Glad you enjoyed it, Snap! Means a whole lot!
