Seriously though- these aren't getting much attention but this is a concept I've always wanted to read about done in bite-sized chunks with just enough progress between them to keep the reader engaged and to feel earned. The little alien lore tidbits make a nice accompaniment to the setting and alien dude's progress, as well as fleshing out their character a little. This series might not have much in the way of fancy prose or description but honestly I don't really care in this case. I just want to find out how alien dude surmounts the next obstacle. This definitely has an SCP feel to it, where the main draw is the reveal of information, but I think that's really the best way to go about this story.
