Visceral (literally) description of the desire to distance yourself from a parent you hate, and the fear of seeing them in yourself. At least, that's what I read this as. I admit I haven't read much of your work, but this just makes me want to. Fantastic job.

This feels hits close home for me about not wanting to make yourself resemble your parent, this is pretty good and deserves a +1
