this is beautiful stuff. the verse is splendid and not a line is wasted. the jumping of short fragments of life is cunning and knifelike in use, and the work itself gives a hazy golden glow that obfuscates life and memory alike, and brings back shattered remnants of a stained glass window that we piece irrationally back together like ceramic tile shards. Fresh banana smoothie and melting ice cream in summer, out of the heat but by the lake so it comes after you anyway. Moving and lovely work.
