Regarding Copyright Status of Hyperlinked Material

Do anchor text hyperlinks to copyrighted works within an entry in the Library violate the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License? Does it violate site rules? To be clear, I am not referring to hosting or displaying the copyrighted material directly on the site, just simply linking to it (with attribution, of course).

In the context of the CC License, hyperlinks are fine. That being said, using hyperlinks to copyrighted content is not a practice we advocate for or encourage when used in articles, as it is a way to circumvent site rules. If you would want to link something, we would like for it to be moved to your author post or a forum thread instead. Totally fine if they're in the forums, just not in articles themselves.
