The demon getting punted into a cathedral by a truck is the single best deus ex machina I have ever seen oh my god

Seriously though- the action in this is vivid and fast-paced and the flurry of locations and chaotic set pieces makes for a really entertaining read. And I loved the growing sense of moral ambiguity- the conversation about the Serpent's hand really doesn't provide a satisfying answer and I love it. Is Cedar even in the right? Their morality is starting to seem a little bit… wonky, and that tension is really, really engaging because you can't help but like them. I liked Cedar before but this part's characterisation has cemented them as one of my favourite characters on the site.
