Gillian Welch, "April the 14th Part 1"
XVIII The Moon: Pale aggregate of all our longing.
Usually in my own readings it represents hidden places, unknown depths of the self, dissociation, distances and laws collapsing, dream logic, fear. I don't have many phobias, but selenophobia is one, and these poems track my fear of the moon from start to finish.
Huge huge thanks to daviiid for creating the gorgeous card artwork and also providing support and criticism as I created this unwieldy thing. Thanks also to…
… for providing criticism over the past couple weeks.
