It’s the zombie apocalypse and you're with a group of survivors in Brestovac sanatorium, Zagreb, Croatia. It’s about 10 o’clock in the morning and everybody’s huddled together around a fire in the cafeteria eating breakfast, when a piercing shriek was heard. When everyone was calmed down and you ask for some volunteers to come with you to check the noise out. You gather the necessary supplies and head to the patient wards to investigate. Out of the corner of your eye you see a flash of movement and a quick flash of something or someone taking one of your teammates. You cry out but it’s already too late to save the poor man from whatever or whoever took him.
The group then moves on from the patient wards and tries their best to watch out for loose boards that might make somebody fall to the ground, just as the group turns to the lower floors. A brief and stunned creature runs towards the group and charges at the nearest person, Crack! A gunshot rings in your ears as a mysterious person fires a 30.30 hunting rifle behind you at the creatures charging your miniscule amount of people.
As your group prepares for a fight they draw the assorted weapons they carry on their persons. BANG! Another shot fired in the creature's direction, WHAM! Something hits you like a freight train, knocking you back about 20 feet from the stairs. PH-WHOM! The basement caught fire after that thing hit you from behind and you stumbled after the group, who took off after the mysterious guy. Suddenly a bright, sharp, stabbing pain shoots through your whole right side. You make it up the stairs and to the cafeteria and pass out. When you wake up, you try to stand up but almost fall down because of the pain in your right side. As you look up you see the mysterious guy walking in and he pops a round in your head. Just then a sudden calm washes over you and you see your loved one walking over to hug you.
Later on after that “ Hey Jerry, What were those things that took Jakob and Ruth.” Anonymous
“ Oh, they were some wild dogs.” The mysterious guy said.
