Just realized I never commented on this, so let me remedy that.
I don't even know where to begin with this thing, 'cause it's exactly what I was hoping for when I said "mob of meerkats operating in the Library." I love all these little ne'er-do-wells (except Vinny, that rat). The concept of what they do is so great too. They're the muscle behind petty Archivist disputes over where certain books belong and any other job that needs a book to be relocated (not stolen!) Yet, despite the fairly mundane and unimportant premise as a whole, the jobs end up being really dangerous. They've got rival mobs and ultimately they're small creatures in a library filled with large, unforgiving, and sometimes violent staff.
It's some unholy clash of Goodfellas, The Departed, Reservoir Dogs, and Meerkat Manor. And I love it.
I now have a heinous need for a rendition of one of Coolidge's dogs playing poker paintings with these guys.
