Interesting little piece with a LOT of crosslinks. The prose flows well and I did enjoy reading something much more lore-heavy than what usually gets posted to the site. The myth-esque logic of it worked well enough, and though this piece isn't anything especially profound or experimental it's just… fun. +1, if I'd read this in 2020 I would have scoured all the crosslinks for L O R E and probably would now if I didn't have a ton of contest pieces to catch up on.

I am non-voting this for one reason: I like myth-making, but this particular interpretation of the SCP creation myth — which incorporates a lot of works by the likes of Djoric — has been done to death. I should know so, because I did the same some years ago when writing for Et Tam Deum Petivi back at the SCP Wiki. I feel this does little to add a different approach to a pre-existing mythology, so it feels derivative rather than give us, say, a different perspective on the same story from another culture, group of people, etc. It's decent stuff, so I won't downvote it, but it's nothing new.

I know the creative legendary motif in SCP has been used too much, sorry for making you feel bored, but it's my first tale, so I want to use a not too difficult theme. Thanks about your critique.
