I'm not sure there are many words that can be meaningfully put to this, so I won't be verbose or witty or whatever.
It's a good piece. It's a hard piece, but good. These stories have done an excellent job of pushing the theme of sacrifices made for desires forward, little by little, but that little push gets stronger each piece that passes by. This one was no exception. The dissonance of the previous pieces have been utterly eclipsed by this one, far and away. The struggle to rationalize what happened was rough to read, which is exactly what it should be. None of this should be easy or relaxed, it's a horrible thing. I dunno what else to say, really.
I hope you continue to push the story forward and I'm glad you found the boldness to post this.
