as i told you over discord, this is propulsive and vivid. it seems to have become more so since i last read it, though i cannot pinpoint what exactly is different. nice work.

Fairly evocative. Love the changes in perspectives, or characters rather, regarding the snow, the winter, the passage of it all. Really fun stuff. +1~

even better than it was in crit. this one got polished to a snowblind shine. powerful and driving, intellectual and emotional. top shelf stuff thst makes me want to get back into some more poetry myself - inspiring

I was sorely mistaken in not reading this earlier. This is fantastic, evocative as I always know a Stygian Blue piece to be and bursting at the seams with bright red coppery meaning. Time indeed seems to stop sometimes, like the ethereal, unchanging blanket of the first snow.

And then, of course, it starts again.
