Cabrakán, god of earthquakes, is a divine monster from Mayan mythology, evil spawn of Seven-Macaw, felled by the hero twins and buried under a mountain where his pained slumber causes the earth to tremble. Here, he has been used as the namesake of a kaiju which was drawn by the one and only Doctor Whitney (we miss you, girl).
The symbol is Imix, a Mayan glyph meaning "crocodile", which is the animal Cabrakán is most often represented as.
