i knew immediately upon reading this entry that i needed to include an encounter with a dune drake as part of my story. this is all a testament to the power of forward-looking worldbuilding, because almost anything you have written about could be a jumping-off point for something else in the canon, almost like a collection of creature-shaped writing prompts. one question: why do the titles change between the first and second entry from "beasts of the desert" to "beasts of desert?" i like "beasts of the desert" better personally but wondering which one was intended and which one was not. still, very good, and easy +1
