As some of you may have noticed, the Library’s collections have undergone some significant reorganization. Under the old method, articles were grouped together under various books which covered a certain theme or style of writing, such as poems or demonology. While interesting, this system proved cumbersome, as some books had only a single entry, while others had several dozen.
So we decided to change the filing system. Now, instead of articles being shoehorned into books according to topic, they will be tagged into a shelf. The shelves have no particular theme or ranking; the idea was to make this similar to the way that SCP slots on the SCP Foundation site work. They will periodically be rotated to prevent any possibility of the topmost shelf becoming overloaded.
Books that were considered to have enough stylistic and/or thematic cohesion (e.g. the Book of Ur) have been kept together within the shelves. If you have articles that you wish to have kept on the same shelf, just let me or rumetzen know and we will move them. If you want to see the old Library listings, you can check it out here.
Feel free to air any questions or concerns that you might have. We hope you like the new system!
