Meta commentary: I think I'll wrap up Part 3 after tomorrow.
This is deceptively simple. As seems all too frequent with this project, I wish there were more context but what's provided is sufficient. The imagery, both in the literal sense with the photographs and in the literary sense, is quite striking. Even without the author commentary, I think it's pretty obvious what's happening and I like that such a complex idea was delivered in so few words. Also, it's interesting to see such an early entry to the Foundationverse's greater lore, even if this particular bit doesn't seem to have gone anywhere in the time between Series I and now.
