Our first human! Neat. I like that Aframos recognizes apes but not humans, and I like the notes about humans being spread through the multiverse. It's intriguing that there's no language barrier, also.

I like Aframos' description of this guy's antics and his stretched patience with him.

The lack of language barrier is simply explained. They are both speaking the Trade Language, a "living" language that infects minds via the Crichton-Mandragora effect, a trans-mental memetic transference that allows rapid acquisition via stimulation of the humours that govern language. The routes of commerce carry it to disparate cultures, even those lacking direct contact with the Ravelwoods.

See? Simple. Even a layman such as yourself should be able to understand it.

I'm curious as to why Aframos doesn't know the word "fool".

Anyway, good take on the whole "other species finds a human" type of story!
